An 84 year old man who has Alzheimer's went missing in north London on Friday April 25. The London Police department (LPS), Police Auxiliaries and London Search and Rescue (LSAR) searched for him through Friday night. LSAR was called out to search on Saturday again. Once we arrived LPS had found the man and requested our help to extricate him from an embankment near a river. He was carefully placed on a backboard and into a stokes litter and carried out by LSAR members, LPS and London Fire. More information at LondonTopic.ca
